Taylor Chapters is a bilingual multimedia project that spans across various platforms. We create both written and video content in English and Spanish and our accounts reach audiences across North America, South America and Spain.
From SEO-optimized articles in English and Spanish that consistently rank high on Google searches, to long and short format videos that connect with our audiences across Youtube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Threads, we maximize reach by tapping into an omnichannel approach.
All of my platforms work together to promote each other, creating a layered system that reaches people across all touch points. If you prefer detailed long content format, we have it covered on YouTube. If you prefer short and simple videos, we have that as well across all social platforms.

Video Format
If a picture is worth a thousand words, video is inevitably invaluable in the world of communication. In today’s digital age, video dominates all social platforms and is a powerful way to tell stories in a variety of ways.
Whether people are online looking for the latest products in different industries and honest reviews of them or great places to eat or visit, people increasingly turn to social media for advice and inspiration. We approach video content in a variety of ways:
Long Videos
Long format videos are published on YouTube, and then shared on their accompanying blog post. These videos are deep dives into topics, and serve as major resources and relationship builders with online communities. Comments are a great place to generate conversations and learn with and from the audience. It is the core of the Taylor Chapters community.
We currently have two different video series that serve different purposes. One one hand, we create long format guides and informational resources that are meant to answer questions that people search for about specific topics and destinations. This type of video generates views over time as people continue to search the topic.
There is no cap on the growth of search-based videos. On the other hand, we recently kicked off a series where we tell stories in Spanish. The storytelling series is meant for entertainment. While it can also grow over time, it is more likely to generate more instant views as my channel becomes increasingly discovered and promoted by the algorithm over time.
In both cases, I break down my long videos into short videos for the other social media channels and provide the link to the full video in the blog post in the comments and as “stories”. In that way, the short form content works to promote the long format content.
Short Videos
Short videos also known as shorts or reels are a great way to tell relatable and shareable stories that can generate major traffic. Combining the right short visual clip with the right on-screen caption can result in thousands of shares and views.
Talking head videos can be a great way to get to know and relate to your audience in a deeper and more personal way, and sharing complete lived-out stories through thoughtful video compilations narrated by voiceovers can take your audience along the ride with you. Published across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and Threads, short videos can reach different audiences across age ranges.
Shorts/reels are also a great way to provide audiences a preview of a long format YouTube video and accompanying blog post, and can serve as an additional source of traffic. They have the biggest potential for quick vitality and lots of shares.
Stories
Stories on Instagram, TikTok and Facebook are only up for 24 hours and are the most informal yet intimate type of video you can share with your existing audience.
When we are particularly excited about a product, service, or personal project, we share authentic in the moment reactions that make our existing audience feel more invested and connected to the Taylor Chapters community. We like to use voting and poll features when possible to learn more from my audience.
Blog Format
Writing is a major passion of ours. It is the base of everything that we do. Our long format videos' logic follows the layout of our articles, which then informs our short video content as well. We like to write content that evokes real emotions and excitement, and when creating articles as a resource we are diligent to only share true experiences that we have personally lived and can stand by.
Beneath the creativity of our writing is an SEO strategy that ensures our articles will not only be found on my website itself, but that they will rank for targeted and strategic key words on Google. We use search engine optimization tools to identify what people are searching via google and how we can help to answer their questions.
Google chooses a handful of articles to be the results it shows people when they type in questions. We use SEO strategy and make sure we are providing value. As a result, google shows our articles as one of the top results for the key words that we choose to write about. SEO is the secret sauce that allows people to find and read our written content.
We almost always include long format videos in our articles, and promote them via shorts on all social media channels. When our articles start to rank highly on google search, google starts to also showcase our long format and short format videos, making all the content even more discoverable.

Taylor Chapters generates over 250,000 monthly views across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and Threads, including 595,000 TikTok views in the past year and 10,000+ monthly YouTube viewers discovering travel and cultural content.
The audience is primarily U.S.-based (38%) with additional reach in the UK, and Europe, reflecting an internationally curious travel audience. Viewers are predominantly ages 25-44 (60%+) with a balanced gender split, a high-value demographic interested in travel, food, and cultural experiences.
